My name is Jillian Hall, M.A. CCC-SLP and welcome to my blog! Here I focus on working with teenagers with speech and language concerns and the modifications we must make and differences to be found when working with the high-school population. This was due to a project I completed in graduate school where I worked with school psychology students to develop literacy programs for groups of English Learners and took the CTEL (California Teacher of English Learners) test

Specifically in the "More Than Words" Program
- I fell in love with working with teenagers when I was a student clinician at Camp Meadowwood Springs. I worked with two 16-year-old clients and the adolescent bug bit me hard. I even skipped my medical internship in grad school to be able to have a high school internship (in addition to the mandatory elementary placement)! Find me on LinkedIn!
A little about me, personally:
- I'm a dog person, but I own a cat out of convenience
- I've spent more than 6 months living abroad in 3 different countries (France, Ecuador, and Guatemala)
- When not living abroad, I've spent all the rest of my time living in California!
- On the weekends, you can find me volunteering as a prospective member with the Junior League!
- I actively use a gaming PC I built myself and a PS4
